Mussenden Temple is located in the beautiful surroundings of Downhill Demesne near Castlerock in County Londonderry. It perches dramatically on a 120 ft cliff top, high above the Atlantic Ocean on the north-western coast of Northern Ireland, offering spectacular views westwards over Downhill Strand towards Magilligan Point and County Donegal and to the east Castlerock beach towards Portstewart, Portrush and Fair Head

After a hot day in Sint Maarten its time to go to the boardwalk in Philipsburg. From there you can see the sun setting behind Divi. Divi is a nice resort that has a beautiful beach and you can snorkle there nicely. But my favorite place is the beach by the boardwalk where the nice bars and restaurants are.

I never tire of this magnificent view. Rhodes just comes to life around sunset and the way the sun hits the building at sunset is just magnificent, making them appear to be made of gold. This photograph was taken right on sunset when the blue light was at its best, but the last hues of golden light were still visible on the buildings. If you are lucky, this lasts for a couple of minutes. on this evening, it lasted about 30 seconds before it was gone.
