Shahnaz Parvin was a celebrated award-winning photojournalist from Bangladesh who dedicated her career to documenting the culture and people of her homeland. She gained international recognition for her work, consistently ranking among the top 100 photographers globally during her career. Her passion for visual storytelling led her to join the Light and Composition team as a contributing photographer in 2011. She focused her lens on capturing the complexities of upheaval, conflict, and daily life until her untimely passing in 2016.
