The shallow depth of field isolates the texture so effectively that I can almost feel the silk against my skin. It’s a rare, honest moment of harvest. In thirty years, this simplicity will still hold weight while the trendier, over-processed portraits of today will have long since faded.

Heidegger would argue that we only truly see the object when it’s threatened by the dark. Here, the shadow finally learns to think.
