Cats are my most common theme of animal photography, and perhaps one could say the most common theme of photography in general. They are not easy to photograph, they are stubborn and mostly do not like it when they get too close. This close-up photo of whiskers was taken while the cat was sleepy.

This photo of a frozen spider web was taken in winter, when there are a lot of interesting details around us, in nature. They can be photographed with a macro lens. I don't have a macro lens so I use Canon EF 25mm extension tube on a prime 50mm Canon lens (f/1.4).
