Antonio Biagiotti

Born in 1971 in Porretta Terme, Italy, Antonio Biagiotti is a dedicated photographer based in the scenic Appennino Tosco-Emiliano region. His practice is deeply rooted in traditional methods, favoring large and medium format film cameras which he personally develops and prints in his own darkroom. Driven by a passion for the tactile elements of shutter speed and aperture, Biagiotti’s work is characterized by a meticulous approach to black and white photography, supported by his wife, Sara, who serves as both his primary advocate and his most discerning critic.

He utilizes a variety of equipment including the Gibellini ACN45, Pentax 67II, and Pentax K1000. His kit is complemented by a wide range of Nikkor, Schneider, and Rodenstock lenses.
