Renewable Energy by Nuno Alexandre

Captured against the expansive backdrop of the Danish landscape, this photograph documents the pervasive presence of wind energy that defines the nation's modern horizon. The photographer was drawn to the rhythmic, industrial geometry of the wind turbines as they punctuate the natural environment, symbolizing the country's commitment to sustainable power. By framing these structures within the vast, open space, the image highlights the harmonious, albeit imposing, integration of renewable technology into the traditional scenery. This work is award-worthy for its clean, purposeful composition and its ability to transform a functional utility into a compelling visual narrative of environmental progress.

Reflections on this Photograph
By Margaret Holt

The Breath of the Horizon

In the quiet corners of the countryside, there is a rhythm that predates our machines. It is the steady, invisible push of the air against the grass, a constant conversation between the earth and the sky.

The Hum of the Air

I remember the taste of cold air on a winter morning, sharp and metallic, like licking a frozen iron gate. It is a flavor that wakes the lungs, a bracing sting that reminds you that you are breathing, that you are a vessel for the wind.

The composition is delightful. The contrast between sky and grass is amazing, warmness can be felt although it was cold winter day.
I wonder are any additional effects used in Photoshop or any other software, or the photo is the same as it was taken? If yes, what effects?
