Cherry Peppers by Ryszard Wierzbicki
In Nepal, you’ll commonly find small, very spicy peppers, often called cherry peppers or simply local chili peppers. They're usually red, small, quite hot, and eaten fresh, pickled, or added to spicy curries. Nepalese people often pair them with sour flavors, like lime, to balance the heat. In street food, these peppers can be part of simple snacks, or used as a garnish. If you don't like spic iness, it's helpful to ask for milder sides, because the chili level can surprise you.
