This beautiful image was taken on a recent trip to South Island, New Zealand. This is Lake Pukaki with its grand view of Aoraki Mount Cook. My initial plan was to go further into the Pukaki valley for some drone photography and that is exactly where I was headed on this afternoon.

Lake Tekapo in South Island New Zealand is famous for its Church of Good Shepherd and the clear skies for astrophotography. This particular sunset at Lake Tekapo was perhaps the most mildest i had ever seen.
