Born in Erzurum, Turkey, in 1971, Derya Yazar Atasever is a Master of Fine Arts, an EFIAP-distinguished photographer, and a retired nurse currently residing in Cappadocia. Her multifaceted career bridges the worlds of health management and fine arts, notably through her pioneering work in art therapy for patients with mental health conditions. An active leader in the international photography community, she serves as a competition juror, educator, and advocate for social responsibility projects, consistently championing the cultural and historical significance of photography within her home region.
