Serenity in Mountains, by Vishal Arora

Clicked this image during my bike trip to Chitkul. Its a very serene village situated at height of around 3450 mts above sea level and is the last Indian village at the border. The place provided extreme solace with its tranquility. And the beauty of nature was present in all its abundance. The open space with boulders spread all over, snow capped mountains lying in background and some rare green trees in such adverse climate threw a delightful view to eyes.

while I like the composition, the very bright halo around the big tree on the left attact my attention eache time I look at the photo> The abuse of the brush around the tree is a pity as it is otherwise a nice shot.
