Grey Petals by Kirsten Bruening

Petals in grey have always fascinated me. Already as a child I painted flowers with pencil and painted light fine shades of grey on the leaves. This photo was taken on a sunny morning, the background completely blurred, so that the observer can fully concentrate on the blossom and the petals.
