Just after Dhamrai, around 40km away from the capital Dhaka, I saw this old woman in the field from a distance. I got curios as she was not like others, she was quite old, but her every move indicated she is an expert farmer, who wants to do her own work. I walked to her using the uneven muddy slopes of the rice fields. There I had to wait for a while and then at last she gave permission to take her photograph for one condition, I cannot ask her any personal question. Here in rural Bangladesh, women not only maintain their household, they also do very hard work in the field, even at an old age.
