Running Back Home, by Shahnaz Parvin

I was on a riksha, on the way to see jute cultivation in Munshiganj, and suddenly saw them. Just after their school finished; they were running, running like nothing else to their homes. Some were carrying fish, or groceries that their parents gave them from the village market, but no matter what they are carrying, it’s their most enjoyable time of the day, it is a race who can reach first, a race for running back home.
