Tears in Heaven by Kirsten Bruening

This photo was taken on an early, warm spring morning after a warm spring rain. The sun was not yet high in the sky, so that everything was still illuminated by a soft light. The air was clear and pure. The sun’s rays were reflected slightly in the tips of the petals and thus conjured a variety of different shades of grey into the photograph.
