Stride towards Serenity, by Bobi Dojcinovski

This photo was made in Lefkas, Ionian islands, Greece during my vacation. Egremni is one of the many outstanding beaches of Lefkada, and my favorite. The access to the beach is only by stairs (there are 296 steps to the beach) and this photo was taken during the exhausting climbing on the stairs, but when you are going down, and walking on it, is like walking towards serenity.

This is a very serene image. But the real thing, not so much. There are strong currents and huge waves crashing against the shore, since the beach faces the open sea. It’s not quiet at Egremnoi, either. Fortunately, this photo carries no sound. 😉
