Canada Geese glided silently on my favorite pond at the Marthaville Habitat Area located in Southern Ontario, Canada. I rose at about six am to a wonderful fog. I knew I only had minutes to capture this magical place before the fog and mist burned off with the rising sun. Fortunately I was the only person there that morning and the geese almost seemed to want pose for me! They sure made my day.

James L. Brown is a neophyte, mostly self taught photographer that strives to bring out the beauty in simple things and subjects. Although he really likes gear, he believes vision is what really matters in photography. He hopes some day to use my photography to help those less fortunate in this world. He is always looking for new members for his KIVA Photographerfriends lending team http://www.kiva.org/team/photographerfriends

Why thank you Terry. I seldom get up early enough to find that magic light . Shortly after taking this photo the fog disappeared and the magic was gone – jimmy
