Peruvian Girl and Friend, by Claudio Bacinello

I came across this young girl and her older sister paddling in a dugout boat and thought they would make interesting subjects. It was only when we got closer that I noticed the younger girl was holding a capybara as if it was her toy. Her expression showed that she probably had few things of value and that this capybara was something she cared about and wanted to protect.
