A Testament to Life by Alessandro Scorsone

It was October sitting on a bench along the sea. In autumn the colors are less vivid but silvery and mix with the blues. They give a different inner peace. I watched the birds on that lamppost blending their colors with the perch. In turn, each of them took off. That lamppost was the springboard of life. I thought their jump in the air was a testament to life.
