A Building of Former Nanyang University, by Siew Bee Lim

In former Nanyang University (1955 – 1980, “Nantah” as abbreviated in Mandarin) that was founded by the Chinese Community, included donations from the people from all walks of life, there were beautiful oriental style architectures in the campus. Those were the days, except this building, which was first the Nanyang University Library, next an Administration building, and now a Chinese Heritage Center. Back then when the news of closing was on newspaper, my Chinese teacher expressed his sorrow to the class.
