The Golden Magic of Autumn by Farhat Memon

This beautiful image was taken on a recent trip to South Island, New Zealand. This is Lake Pukaki with its grand view of Aoraki Mount Cook. My initial plan was to go further into the Pukaki valley for some drone photography and that is exactly where I was headed on this afternoon. Just as I turned a bend in the road, this scene with the entire valley being lit up by the afternoon sun, the autumn colors in all their glory looked absolutely stunning against the pale backdrop of Mount Cook and the pristine reflections in the lake. This view was a show stopper indeed!
