Invisible Ties

How do you define love? Sometimes it’s a lot of attention, or a single expression can do it. Can’t they? We can feel it…Can we see it? Haven’t we experienced it in the compassion of others, in a single moment of juxtaposed emotions? It is such a small word with such a big impact and still we ponder how little things can bind us to that simple word. It is really a remarkable matter. And love has so many expressions…but the holier and most spectacular come from a child. Haven’t the children have the most selfless love? Haven’t we all experienced this love at one point of our time? A child can take the bond of love so easily around them. They can touch us all with a single glance…

Kid Ties a Knot, by Swaroop Singha Roy

Kid Ties a Knot, by Swaroop Singha Roy

Consider this photo by Swaroop Singha Roy, who captured a neighboring kid while roaming on his terrace and compelled to capture the moment of the child who was running on the roof from one corner to another and then suddenly stopped near a few lines of ropes, tried to tie a knot. The cuteness of the moment signifies how the little children on the earth tied a knot of love around this whole wide world.

Can you feel the love? The innocence? That this love is binding you? What do you think?
