During the global Covid-19 pandemic, we often feel lonely and abandoned because of the ban on contact. At some point we read all the books at home, watched every film. We know every tree in the forest, we have ordered everything necessary and unnecessary on the Internet and then we have to find out that the earth keeps turning despite all the loneliness. That we have to be grateful if it hasn't hit us or our friends and family and we go out with a smile and the knowledge that tomorrow will be a good day.

One moving November 2020 day, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic's pervasive grasp, I happened to be strolling down a village's peaceful lanes. As I looked around, my camera caught a sight that expressed so much about resiliency, inventiveness, and the timeless quality of children.

In the past two years we have had to realise that our planet does not have infinite capacity. That our nature and our environment need our help and protection. Already, 1200 animal species and about 35000 different plant species are irreversibly wiped out every year. Our children and grandchildren will only know some plant and animal species from photos. Let us not waste any more time! It is time to act - now!
