It was a beautiful sunny day at the park, the sun was shining like never before. I had seen my brother playing with his beautiful daughter, I stopped what I was doing to concentrate on this Image, I took the picture a few times until I had captured this one. This is the moment I really wanted to capture.

Brighton Pier on a particularly cloudy and stormy day, I was alone on the pier eating my cheese and pickle sandwich that I usually have on my photography trips, when I saw through the wooden slats three guys walking from the back of the pier - what they were doing... I don't know, but the bit of sun we had steaming through the clouds behind created a perfect backdrop for our silhouetted strangers...

Still inspired by her solo trip to Paris, France, in April, 2022, Nikki took this picture of a Pantone espresso cup filled with smoked cigarette butts from the sunny windowsill of her Crystal Palace apartment. She was drawn to the contrast of the dark ash with the surrounding bright white.
