During a visit to the historic Songkhla Old Town in Thailand, the photographer captured a poignant moment at a centuries-old building adorned with portraits of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. As the photographer observed the architectural heritage, a spontaneous scene unfolded: one by one, visitors appeared in the building's windows, transforming the static facade into a living narrative. This image is award-worthy for its ability to blend cultural history with the human element, turning a simple architectural study into a dynamic, layered composition that invites the viewer to look closer at the interplay between the ancient structure and the present-day observers.
