She’s looking at you, sure, but it’s a wary, defensive gazeβ€”not a collaboration. I feel a heavy ache in my chest looking at her hands, but I don't feel her story. You took a picture of her vulnerability, but you didn't earn the right to share it. It’s a missed connection.
