Weird Sky, by Chris Horner

This is an untouched photo taken in Ann Arbor, Michigan USA of strange storm clouds brewing. It was one of the craziest skies that I’ve ever seen and had to hurry inside to grab my camera and capture this. There was a brief hole in the cloud cover that let the sunlight poke through, lighting up the sky as you see here. The storm that followed was as amazing as this shot.

Photo of the Day Award Category: Color Photography
Photograph Location: Michigan | The United States

Photographer: Chris Horner (Charlotte, North Carolina USA) Registered
Chris Horner is a freelance photographer based in Charlotte, NC USA. Chris started becoming serious about photography about two years ago. His main topic of interest is in capturing urban scenes. Chris started primarily with this theme, and then carried his photography skills into another area that he loves – vehicles and racing. Others began taking notice of his work through what he shared on the web and in person. Soon he was creating fine art prints for people to enjoy in their homes and offices. That in turn got the attention of some local small business owners, who started requesting Chris to create images they could use in their marketing. Chris is looking to grow his commercial business since he has always enjoyed working with other entrepreneurs and helping business owners find success in their endeavors.
