Pilgrim by the Notice Board by Ryszard Wierzbicki
The Buddhist Pilgrim stands patiently at the notice board near the entrance to Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. He scans the posted information before stepping into the open plaza where pilgrims circle the stupa and prayer flags move softly in the wind, a quiet moment of routine at one of Nepal’s most revered Buddhist sites.
