The Sanctuary of Green
There are places in every city where the noise of commerce cannot quite penetrate, pockets where the trees are tall enough to swallow the horns and sirens. In those sanctuaries, people come to unbutton their collars, to lean their heads back against wooden slats, and to say the words they couldn’t speak in an office. A park bench is more than public furniture; it is a confessional, a waiting room, a temporary home for anyone who needs twenty minutes to collect their thoughts. Under the cool shadow of the leaves, we are allowed to be human again.

Photographer Arun M Shobh finds that quiet sanctuary in his evocative photograph Seeyaa. It reminds us of the value of stepping away from the rush to hear what truly matters. Do you have a favorite bench where you go to think?
