Standing near the river bend, the breeze brought the fragrance of wet silt and monsoon water. The fishermen here work through all weather, their faces weathered by the sun and their hands skilled from decades of navigating the strong currents. Through my lens, I wished to capture the sheer poetry of their daily labor.
