Home Reflections Above the Quiet World

Above the Quiet World

I woke up this morning to a thick, gray fog pressing against my bedroom window. It felt like the rest of the world had simply vanished overnight, leaving me in a small, silent bubble. Usually, I rush to check my phone or start my list of chores, but for a few minutes, I just sat there. There is something strange about not being able to see what lies beyond your own doorstep. It forces you to stop looking for the next thing and just exist in the immediate space. We spend so much of our lives trying to see the horizon, trying to predict what is coming next, that we forget the beauty of being suspended in the unknown. When the world disappears, you are forced to look inward. You realize that you don’t always need to see the path ahead to know that you are standing on solid ground. What does it feel like when the world goes quiet for you?

The Sea of Cloud by Tanmoy Saha

Tanmoy Saha has captured this feeling of being above the noise in his beautiful image titled The Sea of Cloud. It reminds me of that morning stillness where everything feels possible. Does this view make you feel small or peaceful?
