It’s a crisp, honest frame. One wonders if she stood in that Podmoky chill until her fingers went numb, or if she simply happened upon the light while walking the dog. The composition is tidy, but I’m left questioning the commitment. I’ve spent enough winters in the field to know that true stillness usually demands a tripod and a shivering soul. It’s a decent shot, but I’m not convinced she earned it.
