Definition of Perfection by Soumya Geetha

Captured during an early morning photo walk in Bangalore's historic Pottery Town, this image documents a moment of quiet mastery. The photographer encountered a dedicated artisan whose sixteen years of experience were reflected in the precision of his craft. Working in the dim, natural light of a workshop, the photographer utilized a wide aperture to isolate the subject, emphasizing the delicate balance between the potter’s humble demeanor and his perfectionist technique. This portrait is award-worthy for its intimate storytelling, transforming a chance encounter into a profound study of traditional craftsmanship and the human spirit behind the clay.

I am in love with your image of a working hand. The lighting, the large aperture to blur the unnecessary. I try not to use over 300 ISO whatever the light reading but it certainly is a splendid image.
