Light and Composition: Getting into the Concept

When you start a journey, it is wise to define what you are aiming for. Photography captures the gesture of a particular moment and conveys the message that one puts around the frame. It is a journey which is sometimes special, sometimes meaningful, sometimes just about some past event, and sometimes goes way beyond a simple meaning.

If photography is just about clicking, then even a four-year-old child, using an automated camera, could create images better than anyone else. However, the key to good photography lies in the knowledge you have about the subject, amount of research you have on it, and in the planning and implementation of capturing moments with your artistic vision and skill. With “Light and Composition” magazine, our goal is to guide you towards that true essence of photography.
In each volume we want to give our reader information, knowledge, and techniques to implement that dream into reality; connecting the aesthetic with the technical. This volume, that we call “A Whole New Journey” is a bit more in-depth than the previous issue.
