Advanced Creative Writing: Character, Setting, and the Short Story

Advanced Creative Writing - Creative Writing, Online Writing Courses, Narrative Writing, Storytelling, Writing Classes

From short stories, fiction, non-fiction, narrative essays, travel journals, or even biographies, it is the creative way of writing that offers writers the freedom to write in the original style. For writing stories that manipulate our feelings, expectations, and desire, writers need to compose engaging narratives with memorable characters, general to specific settings, an interesting plot, climax, and a central theme from a unique or well-known point of view – the angle from which the story is told. In this course not only you will write your draft or rewrite it to make it perfect, but you will also master the technique of connecting the story from beginning to middle, then to the end.

It is a self-paced course, where a learner can proceed at his/her own speed, however, should complete it within the time frame of 4 months. This 3 credits course costs $75, which includes guide book, course materials, exam fees, and award registration for presenting your work. Get up to 35% discount in this course when you signup in a monthly payable fees commitment. We always want to recognize and reward every single contribution that furthers the aims of our university.
