The Play of Scale
As children, we lay on our stomachs in the backyard grass and imagined we were exploring an Amazonian jungle where ants were tigers and blades of crabgrass were giant bamboo stalks. We understood intuitively that reality is playful, that size is relative, and that wonder depends entirely on where you choose to place your eyes. Adult life robs us of that playful vision, insisting on rigid proportions and practical measures. How refreshing it is when an artist shakes us awake, using a camera lens to remind us that the world is still full of gentle giants and fantastical landscapes.

In A Perspectives, photographer Aman Raj Sharma invites us to rediscover the joyful, unscripted world of playful angles. It brings an infectious warmth to the viewer. When did you last see the world from ground level?
