The Horizon Within
We often look outward when we want to imagine the future, gazing at mountain ridges or across open water as if the next chapter were written on the clouds. But the most significant envisioning always happens behind closed eyelids. It takes place in the quiet chamber of the chest, where memories and yearnings collide to form a tentative vision of who we might become. That internal horizon can be intimidating — it demands that we confront our fears, our solitude, and the gap between our current reality and our deepest hopes. Yet without that brave inner gaze, no true step forward is ever possible.
Sagar Makhecha captures that contemplative inner journey in his powerful piece titled Envisioning. It speaks of quiet yearning and internal strength. What dreams are you currently nurturing in the quiet of your thoughts?
