Gone with the Wind

This windy day howls and moans, shattering the day. On such a day, all is lost with the wind. Still he remains, but keeps moving. He feels the wind on his face, knowing that it is pushing him away. Exhausted from the struggle, his heart chants for the collision. It is as if he is trying to defy everything, resembling the storm he is facing in his life so devastating, that it is almost destroying him. Still, on a windy day, he challenges everything; perhaps the weather is trying to intimidate him. He endures everything and it is as if his soul is awakening but his spirit is soaring. On a windy day he just forgets all and tries to realize the struggles of life.

Gone with the Wind

Sandy Day, by Abdellah Azizi

This photograph was taken by Photographer Abdellah Azizi (Ouarzazate, Morocco), on a late afternoon in Zagora, Morocco during enjoyable weather. However, the weather suddenly changed for the worst. Added to this, a sandy wind started blowing intensely…in spite of this, the locals did not seek shelter but just kept on working.
