Desirable Innocence

Innocence – so desirable and loving Innocence; so scarce Innocence; so scared innocence; so ignored innocence. I love you innocence. My heart breaks when I see you. My heart smiles and cries when I see you. It hurts to see you rejected. Oh Innocence! Please don’t reject me! Please don’t abandon me!

Where are you, oh innocence? I am looking for you everywhere. I see you everywhere yet I find you nowhere. That is why I am holding on to you, in my thoughts, in words, in pictures, in smiles, in sadness, in love, in peace and in quite. Let me find you. Let me find you.

Hummingbird's Eye, by Ana Sylvia Encinas

Hummingbird's Eye, by Ana Sylvia Encinas

Ana Sylvia Encinas took this beautiful picture of a hummingbird. The look in that eye of this bird, the way it lifted its sweet mouth to whatever it is looking at, the way it is standing with meek posture, all these things are so charmingly sweet and innocent looking. It shows a perfect picture of the innocent nature that God created, which is in abundance around us.
