Understanding the Structure of English Language
Written by Nasrul Eam
As an adult, it is not always easy to learn another language. Often, we worry too much when we use a language other than our native language. However, speaking a second language to communicate daily with people from different parts of the world is truly a wonderful experience. Over time, widely spoken languages such as English, has developed a structure to describe its formation; it covers our expression, aspect, and mood. This clear and succinct guide lets you explore how to express the location of time, degree of necessity, obligation, probability, possibility, certainty, and ability, and the fabric of time: Is it a single block of time frame, a continuous flow, or is it a repetitive occurrence?
There are very few books as this one, which explains every structure of English with a wide range of examples and exercises, by focusing on practical and theoretical aspects from a linguistic. We use this book at universities, classes, and English language learning programs, in different countries around the world. Native and non-native English speakers read this book cover to cover and practice; they share their perspectives, experiences, and wisdom, which make this a better book – one of the best book series for learning and teaching English. As teachers or students, you can use this book as a means of learning English as second language, as a text book for ESL/TESL/TESOL courses, and for graduate and post graduate programs.
