Fact 1: What This Food Is
Mie ayam, mi ayam, or bakmi ayam is a common Indonesian street food of seasoned yellow wheat noodles topped with diced chicken meat.

Fact 2: What’s Inside the Food
In Indonesia chicken noodles is often seasoned with soy sauce and chicken oil, made from chicken fat and spices mixture of clove, white pepper, ginger and coriander. The yellow wheat noodle is boiled in water until it is cooked to be firm to the bite then mixed in a bowl with the spices. The cooking oil coats the noodle in order to separate the threads.

The diced chicken meat, which is cooked with stir fry the paste of chopped onion, garlic, turmeric, Ginger, added with chicken stock, oystersauce, sweet and salty soy sauce, and fried onions.
