Andrey Araya

Born in Limón, Costa Rica, in 1980, Andrey Araya is a journalist and writer who finds deep inspiration in the power of storytelling. Though he identifies primarily as a man of letters, his artistic journey has expanded to include photography, which he uses to capture the magic of the world around him. Based in San José, he approaches his lens with the observant eye of a chronicler, allowing his camera to translate his literary sensibilities into evocative, unforgettable visual narratives.
