It was in Shakhari Bazar, during the time of Holi – the festival of color, where I saw this kid. Covering with all the colors, he was playing there with his friends, celebrating and throwing colors to everyone. Then when I was about to take his photograph, he suddenly stood still and was looking directly towards my camera.

With the highest number of Photo of the Month and Photo of the Day Awards, Shahnaz joined Light and Composition as Contributing Photographer from March 2013. Covering upheaval, conflict, places, people, and culture, she was one of the top most contributors from South Asia until 2015.
