Iraqi Layered Fresh Fava Bean, by Zahraa Al Hassani

This is one of the most popular “layered” (m’tubug) rice dish from Iraq. Very tasty! The recipe is a high source of protein with or without meat. Usually it cooked with lamb, and served with yogurt. It has a very nourishing ingredients, Fava beans, rice, fresh dill, onion, and last but not least yogurt, or date syrup. Bon Appetit!
