To Victory, by Shahnaz Parvin

16th December is our victory day, the victory of red and green. The color red in our national flag represents the 3 million people who were brutally killed by Pakistani Army in 1971. And the color green represents the ever green Bangladesh. Regardless of all corruption this country have seen from its birth till now, its political instability, run by its shameless politician, we still do have hope, so does our next generation. They will become the red and green, coloring their dream to make this country a prosperous one. It’s my niece and nephew, they were doing rehearsal for their school program for Victory day, and I didn’t miss the opportunity to take their candid short.
