The Words That Act and Connect
Every sentence you speak or write depends on words that do more than label things. Verbs breathe action and being into your ideas; prepositions anchor them in time and space; conjunctions weave separate thoughts into a whole; and interjections carry the feeling behind the words. This course puts these four workhorses at the centre of your attention.
Through warm, example-rich lessons you will build real, transferable skill: spotting the main verb, handling helpers and objects, mastering the at/in/on choices that trouble so many learners, joining clauses with the right conjunction, and giving your writing an authentic voice. The emphasis throughout is on communication — rules exist to serve your meaning, never to trap it.
You will finish with a capstone project in which you analyse real sentences and compose your own, proving that you can make verbs, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections work together with confidence.
