Rana is the name of my Grandma. She lives alone in a village in Taleghan and does all works by herself. She also makes bread and take care of her trees. She has a small income. She is very kind. I often go to her and ask her to make traditional things.
I love to take pictures in the snow because they erase all the annoying elements and make the subject completely in sight. In this photo the man’s footprints in the snow give a depth in the image. All I tried to do was capturing that depth.
In the spring, when I went to the beautiful villages of the Alborz Mountains in Iran and Qazvin province, I saw beautiful landscapes. A combination of snow on the mountains of wetlands and vineyards. I portrayed this image in three. I only have a black and white photo. Getting the colors can not help you make the photo look beautiful.
