Into the magical world of black and white photography. Black and white photography focuses on the essentials. It highlights the beauty of the subject. It stimulates the viewer's imagination. A black and white photograph sometimes expresses more than 1000 words can describe.

This photo was taken on a day with a lot of rain and snow in Paris. The old walls of the Louvre reflected the headlights of the cars and thus cast strong shadows. This hallway is in a side building of the Louvre Museum, and just as I was about to press the shutter, the door opened and a middle-aged man with an umbrella came out. This created a decisive moment.

Never Waste Time by Kirsten Bruening

In the past two years we have had to realise that our planet does not have infinite capacity. That our nature and our environment need our help and protection. Already, 1200 animal species and about 35000 different plant species are irreversibly wiped out every year. Our children and grandchildren will only know some plant and animal species from photos. Let us not waste any more time! It is time to act - now!
