Moslem Azimi is a self-taught photographer of Kurdish origin currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in English Translation, he channels his passion for his heritage into a dedicated pursuit of documenting Kurdish culture, traditions, and the nuances of daily life. His work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions, reflecting his commitment to preserving the authentic spirit of his people through the lens of his camera.

I enjoyed all time because i love it

As we know, you are originally from Iran. Do you think the rich diverse cultural and artistic heritage of Iran portrayed a different essence to you?

I grow up in a place with old culture , and people protect it and have many things to show others . In actually i take photos with a background from our culture and living method .

Do you like a particular genre of photography and if so, why?

I like all genres and work in all of them because we can't limit photography to an especial genre

Yeah many times , i was so excited and was nervous too because i was thinking about people's feedback
