A Nistan Girl by Bahar Rismani

On a photography trip to one of the villages around Sardasht city called Nistan, I was walking around the village to find a suitable subject, I saw this girl in front of one of the houses. She invited me into the house, an we talked a lot there. I took this photo after getting acquainted there.

Bahar was Born in 1982 in the Kurdish city of Mahabad in Iran. She completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting and most of the time she is traveling to cities and villages and taking pictures of women. Bahar was interested in art and photography from childhood. She has been doing photography for almost 7 years now. Bahar does mostly portrait photography. She is also trying to prevent the disappearance of clothing used by women in ancient times by making old photographs and capturing images of Kurdish women’s culture and clothing.
