This shot was taken at Agradweep, a village of West Bengal, India. It is famous all over India for their extra ordinary wooden models of owls, king, queen and local devotees. I found these old man was siting and creating some art works. This people are real poor and always seek help from the government.

Great portrait! Especially the light in the eyes and vacant stare you captured. Losing a bit of detail in the highlights of the beard, but this lightness gives the photo good range of value and i kind of like it.
Very well deserved Photo of the Day.
